Military roots. Professional delivery.
Our Founder and SIV Team
Harrison Aylward is SIV’s Founder and Director. A military veteran, he brings an understanding of service life, military culture and the standards expected within Defence environments, alongside a focus on performance nutrition and technology-led service delivery.
Amber Aylward is SIV’s Chief of Operations. Having helped shape the establishment and running of the business, she oversees day-to-day operations and coordinates the processes and support behind SIV’s service delivery.
Supporting SIV’s leadership is a wider network of accounting and legal professionals, military advisers and specialist contractors. Their expertise contributes to business management, informs our approach within Defence and supports delivery where required.
Together, this experience underpins a structured approach to site assessment, installation and ongoing service management, with clear reporting and regular engagement with unit representatives.
Smart Interactive Vending
SIV stands for Smart Interactive Vending. Our machines bring together large touchscreen displays, digital product and nutrition information, contactless purchasing and remote monitoring to deliver a modern vending experience for military environments.
Behind each machine is an ongoing service covering stock, replenishment, servicing and support. We work with unit representatives to agree a product range suited to their facility and review it as the service develops.
Rooted in the Forces community
Our military background shapes how we work. We recognise the role that gyms, training facilities and sport play in service life, supporting physical readiness, teamwork and unit identity.
SIV’s purpose extends beyond supplying products. Through an agreed share of profits, our service helps units generate income for activities and resources that benefit their personnel. It connects everyday purchases with a return for the community using the facility.
Technology with a practical purpose
We use technology to make the service straightforward for customers and manageable for the units we support.
Our 55-inch interactive touchscreens allow users to explore products and nutrition information before purchasing. Contactless payment makes transactions convenient, while remote sales and stock monitoring helps SIV plan replenishment and respond to service requirements.
The result is a connected vending service supported by site attendance, ongoing maintenance and regular communication with unit representatives.
Working within Defence
SIV provides vending services under contract to the Ministry of Defence and is a registered supplier with the Government Commercial Agency.
We work with establishments and existing service providers to confirm suitability and avoid duplication or conflict with services already available. Site surveys, venue agreements and coordinated installation establish clear arrangements before a machine is delivered.
Once operational, sales reporting, agreed payments and service reviews provide an ongoing basis for the relationship.
